Then the master said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges and, compel them to come in that my house may be filled.
Luke 14:23

Though I thought I loved Jesus and I prayed to God in times of trouble, help always came but I continued to live for myself. Sinning in depth and darkness.

I had a serious car accident. Then after an abusive relationship, I came back to one Church to get that special love and wholesome support. I started to read the 'Bible in a year' and continued this for decades.

We moved. Frequenting another Church, darkness fell again but from the new Church itself. Pain from my past injuries was extreme and if the doctors and Church could not help me I intended suicide. The versi Jeremiah 29:11 came to mind "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope."

We attended the Remembrance Service in Narberth, Bethesda Baptist Church and after the service and tea, on the way home, my son said to me "I'd like to hear that man again!" We did and every week the Word of God was revealing the true Gospel. loud and clear.

Blood in the Old Testament always bothered me and how Christ was the final sacrifice. I never say any resemblance or parallell between Christ's crucifixion and the killing of animals. A sermon on 'the Day of Atonement' touched my heart and i finally understood the connection of Christ as the Lamb of God sacrificed for me but also the scapegoat being Christ too, sent out and left to die carrying the sins of my life, past, present and future, all 2000 years after Jesus was actually crucified.

Now married and baptised, I know with great joy, all glory to Him who came, died and rose again to save me and you.
